Hello Members and Community
Our profession has been chaotic and uncertain for the last few months. Only now, we’re starting to get some breathing room. As individuals, family members, professionals, colleagues, business owners, and many more roles, we can empathize.
At TCMO, we’ve been awake with morning coffee or tea in hand, laying the foundation of our profession’s future stability at our meetings. We’ve asked ourselves hard questions such as: what is needed foundationally to move us forward? How can we secure our profession despite external change and encroachment from other professional bodies? What can we do to keep supporting our members? After reflections, insightful conversations, and feedback from the community, we distilled the most critical immediate concerns and concentrated on the following tasks.
7 Things We’re Focused On
- Engaging a Government Relations Firm
- Gathering research to show the benefits of Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine
- Expanding member benefits
- Connecting and communicating more via Social Media
- Featuring members via article submissions
- Offering advertising space for workshops & seminars
- Facilitating learning groups / Mentor-Mentee directory

“A Journey Of A Thousand Miles Begins With A Single Step”
Our journey is a long one with these tasks. However, we are moving forward. Help us accelerate by getting involved. Become a member (if you are not already), and talk to fellow TCM colleagues about us. The more members we gain, the more we can do! We are also looking for volunteers to assist in various projects.
