Annual General Meeting

Sunday, July 9th, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm

The TCMO is thrilled to announce our upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM), where we will gather together to celebrate our achievements and chart a path for the future. Mark your calendars for Sunday, July 9th, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, as we come together in person, or online, to celebrate all things TCM!

This year’s AGM promises to be an event you won’t want to miss. We have curated a lineup of thought-provoking topics and a skills workshop designed to build your acupuncture toolkit. Our goal is to provide you with valuable insights, practical knowledge, and exciting opportunities for growth and development.

One of the highlights of the AGM will be a presentation by a representative from KWM, a prominent government relations firm we have engaged. They will shed light on the pressing issues that have been unfolding at Queen’s Park, directly impacting our profession. Discover how we are working to ensure the credibility of TCM & Acupuncture in the eyes of the public and the sustainability of the profession. It’s an incredible opportunity to understand the landscape and play an active role in shaping our future.

We are excited to announce that Taylor Novak, R.Ac, R.TCMP, will be hosting an in-person workshop on electro-acupuncture and its diverse applications. With a particular focus in neuromuscular conditions, Taylor has achieved remarkable success in improving his patients’ function, mobility, and reducing pain. Prepare to be inspired by his expertise and gain valuable insights to enhance your own practice.

The AGM will provide a platform for knowledge sharing and networking. It’s an opportunity to exchange ideas, seek inspiration, and create lasting connections that will benefit us in our journey towards career growth, development, and longevity.

Remember to sign up and register for the AGM as soon as possible. Limited spots are available, and we want to ensure that every member has the opportunity to participate. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to engage, learn, and contribute to our collective success.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday, July 9th. Together, let’s shape the future of the TCM & Acupuncture profession!

TCMO Bylaw Amendments

Governance of your Association is important to the Board and to the membership. The Board reviews the Bylaws to ensure that they continue to reflect the best practices for the Association and the profession. The Board of TCMO has accepted amendments to the governing Bylaws of the Association that reflect the use of online document storage, notice of meeting standards, standardized election dates for Board members, and a consolidation of the Standing Committees.
