Heather Kenny, President
Heather Kenny is a registered acupuncturist, who works in two clinic locations, Peterborough and Bowmanville. In addition to responding to the needs of patients, she also offers facial rejuvenation acupuncture and sports injury and pain management. Heather brings experience, motivation and dedication to the role of President of TCMO. Her background includes experience in health care, business development and operations, board management, fundraising, volunteering, government relations, politics and public outreach.
Heather’s motivation is to advocate for our profession and to ensure our TCM practitioners and Acupuncturists are top-of-mind and relevant to the people of Ontario and to the governance of the Province. Heather is dedicated to promoting our health and wellness services, to supporting others and offering assistance wherever possible, and looks forward to working with the members of the TCMO Board in the coming year.
Kevin Liu, Vice President
Kevin Liu is the vice-president of TCMO. He is a graduate from the Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). After completing his studies in acupuncture in 2002, Kevin went to China and completed an apprenticeship in Hangzhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital to practice and obtain further knowledge and experience. He is a registered acupuncturist who practises in Toronto and Aurora, but also a sales manager at Mai Medical, a company providing equipment for acupuncturists.
Kevin has extensive experience in business and regulations; he is very active in advocating for our profession.

Yu Change (Royce) Liu, Treasurer
Yu Chang (Royce) Liu is the treasurer. He is a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner currently practicing at Complete Balance Neuro Acupuncture Rehab and Tzu Chi Clinic of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
He previously graduated from the University of Toronto and has experience managing finance and members in a student club. Royce will continue to streamline TCMO to control cost and to ensure the membership fees are used in the most effective and efficient way.
Royce is proud to be working with all of you and to continue making our profession better.
Aline Yon, Secretary
Aline Yon is the secretary of TCMO. She is a Registered Acupuncturist, practicing at the Toronto Integrative Medicine Centre, the professional clinic of the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (OCTCM), as well as Toronto Yoga Mamas.
Prior to that, she was a senior manager in the pharmaceutical industry, working in marketing and communication. She has extensive experience managing national and international projects, as well as dealing with health authorities.
She is also fluent in French, being born and educated in France, where she gained her BSc in Life Science and a MSc in Biotechnology Management. Aline is looking forward to working with you in elevating the voice of our profession.
Raylene Hill, Director
Raylene Hill is on the board of directors of TCMO. She joined TCMO in 2019 as secretary and is further diversifying her support role. Raylene is also a Registered Massage Therapist and is working as a self-employed practitioner (R.Ac and RMT) as well as a Shiatsu Therapist for Ste Anne’s Spa in Northumberland County. Having completed her acupuncture training in 2016, she immediately started studying Japanese Acupuncture with Takamasa Tsurusaki and built a practice primarily using this gentle non-invasive style.
Raylene has been in the health and wellness field for over 15 years, she brings a unique perspective from many different arenas; she was a Personal Trainer and Yoga Instructor with Goodlife Fitness, Restorative care coordinator and Physio-assistant in long term care facilities, sales promoter in a chiropractic office and has experience working in both small and large multidisciplinary clinics.
Raylene is passionate about the power of Traditional Chinese Medicine and its place in our healthcare system to treat conditions both mentally and physically. She is dedicated to help make it more accessible to the public, especially now in the times (post COVID-19) where in person visits are limited.
Michael Moons, Director
Michael Moons is a registered acupuncturist practicing out of Etobicoke and Port Credit. His clinic focus is orthopedics, pain and sports medicine.
Alongside acupuncture he has 13 years experience as a Registered Nurse in emergency medicine.
Michael hopes to bring value from previous and current experience in improving the future of Chinese Medicine in our province.
Karen Tsoi, Director
Karen Tsoi is a registered R. Ac and R. TCMP. She founded Elewellness.com and currently practices in Downtown King West, Toronto. Meanwhile, she is an instructor/ clinic supervisor at the Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Prior to her TCM journey, she completed her undergrad and master’s degrees in engineering/ management science and was a technology consultant for many years.
Her dream is to combine technology with TCM to spread the ancient wisdom to the public. She is excited to serve on the TCMO board to promote and protect the profession alongside a team of dedicated TCM professionals.
